I think it's interesting that the Iranian people are just asking for reform and not trying to get rid of the Islamic government. I guess the opposition would be too powerful if they tried to make such a change. But then again, what better time for a major change than now? Perhaps the bloodshood would be too great for such an undertaking. At the same time, with Obama in office in the US, I can't think of a western leader who would be more willing to facilitate a democratic government in Iran.
